Reasonable Adjustments not only foster a more positive and engaged work culture, they also deliver long-term financial value by minimising staff turnover and avoiding potential legal risks.
Understanding Neurodivergence
Neurodivergence refers to natural variations in the human brain that affect learning, attention, mood, sociability, and other mental functions. This includes conditions like autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and more.
In recent years, awareness and recognition of neurodivergence have grown significantly, thanks to greater research, advocacy, and visibility in education, healthcare, and the workplace.
As a result, more adults are being accurately diagnosed, often after years of being misunderstood or misdiagnosed. As social attitudes are shifting, neurodivergence is increasingly seen not as a deficit but as a difference with its own strengths and challenges.
