About Coaching

Coaching gives you dedicated time and space to focus on your goals without distraction. A neurodiversity coach understands the specific challenges you face and can help you build strategies that actually work for how your brain is wired — rather than expecting you to adapt to systems designed for neurotypical people.

A coach helps you get clear on what you want, identify what's getting in the way, and build practical strategies to move forward. With a neurodiversity coach, that process is informed by a deep understanding of how ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other profiles affect motivation, focus, communication, and daily life.

A discovery session is a free 30-minute call to explore what's going on for you and what support might look like. There's no pressure, no commitment, and no jargon. We just want to understand what you need and whether we're the right fit.

Sessions are typically 60 minutes and held on Zoom. We'll check in on what's happened since your last session, explore what's working and what isn't, and agree on practical actions to try before we next speak. The pace is always led by you.

That's completely up to you. Common areas include focus and productivity, managing overwhelm, confidence and self-advocacy, workplace challenges, disclosure decisions, career direction, and running a business. We follow your agenda.

No. You can start with a single discovery call and go from there. Some clients prefer ongoing one-to-one coaching; others join a group programme. We'll help you figure out what fits your goals, schedule, and budget.

Coaching is forward-focused and action-oriented — we work on where you want to go and how to get there. Mentoring involves guidance from someone with specific experience in your field. Counselling explores past experiences and emotional wellbeing, often in a therapeutic context. Our coaches are trained coaches, not counsellors or therapists.

Yes. Everything discussed in your sessions stays between you and your coach, unless you give us explicit permission to share — or in the very rare event of a safeguarding concern.

About Programmes

Our programmes are designed for neurodivergent adults. JobQuest is specifically for autistic and neurodivergent adults not currently in work. Thriving@Work is for neurodivergent adults in employment. No formal diagnosis is required for either.

JobQuest is completely free, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Thriving@Work is £30 subsidised. Our Access to Work webinars are free to attend.

We understand that life happens — especially for neurodivergent adults. We ask that you attend as many sessions as you can, but missing the odd one won't mean you lose your place. Reach out to us if you're struggling and we'll do our best to support you.

Some sessions may be recorded to support participants who need to review content at their own pace. Kerry will confirm the recording policy for each programme before it starts. All recordings are kept securely and shared only with registered participants.

Yes — if you're in paid employment, your Access to Work grant can be used to fund one-to-one coaching with NeuroRocket. We can provide the evidence your employer needs to process the claim. Contact us to find out more.

About Access to Work

No. You don't need a formal diagnosis to apply. Your own account of how your condition affects your daily work is sufficient. Many people with undiagnosed ADHD, autism, or dyslexia have successfully received Access to Work funding.

You may be eligible if you are aged 16 or over, have a disability, health condition, or neurodivergent profile that affects your work, are in paid employment or self-employed (or about to start), are based in England, Scotland, or Wales, and have the right to work in the UK.

The process varies, but most people receive a decision within 4–6 weeks of their workplace assessment. Applications can take longer if there are delays in the assessment process. Our free webinars cover how to manage the timeline effectively.

No — Access to Work applications must be made by the individual, not their employer. However, your employer will need to be involved in the process, particularly around the workplace assessment and claiming back costs. We can help you prepare for those conversations.
