A Little About Me:
People often describe me as warm, down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I believe coaching should feel like a genuine conversation where you feel understood, supported and never judged. My aim is to create a calm, welcoming space where people can think more clearly, build confidence and move forward with practical strategies that genuinely work for them. I don't believe there's a one-size-fits-all approach to neurodiversity. Every person is different, so together we'll find ways of working that suit your brain, your life and your strengths.
My Journey to NeuroRocket:
For almost fifty years, I wondered why life often felt harder than it seemed for everyone else. From the outside, I appeared successful, building a multi-million-pound business while raising my family. Behind the scenes, I was constantly battling overwhelm, perfectionism and the feeling that I had to work harder than everyone else just to keep up. Everything changed when I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 49. Understanding how my brain worked transformed my confidence, relationships and wellbeing, and inspired me to become a coach so that others could reach that understanding much sooner than I did. NeuroRocket's neuro-affirming, strengths-based approach immediately resonated with me because I firmly believe neurodivergent people don't need fixing. They need understanding, practical tools and the confidence to work with the strengths they already have.
Beyond Coaching:
Outside coaching, I love travelling, discovering new places and spending quality time with family and friends. Formula One has always been one of my passions because I'm fascinated by the strategy, teamwork and innovation behind the sport. I'm also a proud mum. Parenting a daughter with ADHD while supporting another through university has deepened my appreciation that every neurodivergent person has their own unique strengths, challenges and way of experiencing the world.
What Helps Me Thrive:
My coaching style is practical, compassionate and collaborative. I enjoy helping people simplify the challenges they face and find realistic strategies that fit their everyday lives rather than adding more pressure or expectations. I thrive when I have balance, meaningful connections and opportunities to keep learning. Spending time with the people I love, exploring new places and maintaining perspective helps me bring energy, empathy and curiosity into every coaching conversation.
Experience and Background:
I am an Accredited ADHD Certified Coach (AACC) through ADDCA and hold a BSc in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Liverpool. I am also proud to be an ADHD UK Ambassador, and my personal story has been featured in The Telegraph. Before becoming a coach, I built and led a multi-million-pound business employing more than 50 people. That experience gave me first-hand insight into leadership, entrepreneurship and balancing work and family life while living with undiagnosed ADHD. Today, I combine my professional coaching qualifications with lived experience to support adults, students, professionals, entrepreneurs and parents. My coaching is always tailored to the individual, combining practical strategies with genuine understanding and encouragement.
Why Being a Coach Matters to Me:
Coaching isn't simply what I do, it's something I genuinely care about. One of the most rewarding moments is seeing someone realise that nothing is wrong with them. As they begin to understand themselves differently, they develop greater self-compassion and learn to work with their brain rather than against it. My hope is that every client leaves feeling calmer, more confident and equipped with practical strategies they can use in everyday life. It's a privilege to help people recognise their strengths, embrace who they are and build a life that truly works for them.
