about Neurodiversity Coaching

Why should I get a Coach?

  • Deciding to work with a coach can be a life-changing choice.
  •  Life presents everyone with challenges, and it’s not always easy to tackle them alone.
  • However, by partnering with a coach, you gain the confidence and professional guidance needed to conquer personal obstacles.
  • A coach will help identify and leverage your unique talents and abilities.
  • By collaborating together, you can unlock your full potential and excel. With an experienced coach supporting you, any challenge that comes your way   can be faced head-on as you journey towards growth and success.
  • The decision to invest in a coach signals a commitment to positive change and belief in yourself.

How can a coach help me?

  • A coach can provide an outside perspective to help you realize your full potential.
  • They will get to know your unique strengths and abilities, and then work with you to set and achieve meaningful goals aligned with your values.
  • The coach will support you in making major life decisions related to your career and relationships, as well as the small everyday choices.
  • Through this collaborative process, you’ll gain insight into how to become the best version of yourself.
  • The coach is there to guide your development and growth towards long-term fulfilment and success.

What happens during a discovery session?

  • In our initial meeting, we will have an open discussion to understand what you hope to accomplish through coaching.
  • We will get to know each other and decide if we want to work together, (this is very important and it’s perfectly okay to decide we don’t fit).
  • Together, we will develop a tailored outline of what you want to get from coaching, decide on how we can help you achieve your goals and overcome personal challenges.
  • You will leave the first session with clarity on how we will work together to support your success.

What happens during a coaching session?

  • The ongoing one-to-one sessions will provide the customized support you need to make meaningful progress.
  • In subsequent sessions, we will review your progress, re-evaluate your goals as needed, and identify any obstacles holding you back.
  •  Will provide the tools, strategies, and perspective to help you effectively tackle the barriers in your way.
  • You will leave each coaching conversation feeling empowered, confident, and motivated to take action.

What kinds of things will we talk about?

  • Goal-Setting – We will work together to identify your short and long-term goals across areas like career, relationships, health, and personal growth. Goals will be specific, measurable, attainable.
  • Action Planning – Each session will include developing strategies and action steps to help you reach your goals. I will support accountability and progress between sessions.
  • New Perspectives – I will provide outside perspective to help you gain clarity, assess challenges from different angles, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Supportive Guidance – The coach’s role is to actively listen, ask thoughtful questions, and offer guidance to support your success. You will leave feeling encouraged. The focus is always on moving you into your best future through collaboration, not counselling or advice-giving.

Do I need to sign up to a programme?

  • No, you don’t. We suggest you budget for a minimum of six months for the best results.  In coaching you need to have the time to think, reflect, experiment in order to make progress.
  • However, you can go session by session if you prefer.
  • You are always in control.
  • You can cancel anytime with 48 hours notice.
  • You can get a full refund for any outstanding session payment for up to three months.

What are the differences between coaching, mentoring, and counselling?

  • Coaching looks ahead to possibilities of the future.  Mentoring develops skills through advice from someone with experience.
  • Counselling analyses the past and treats psychological conditions.
  • All three work to help individuals reach their potential but the approaches, backgrounds, and areas of focus differ.
  • Coaching is more goal-driven, mentoring shares knowledge, and counselling treats mental health. The choice depends on the specific needs and growth    goals of the individual.

Is coaching confidential like counselling?

  • Yes, all our coaching conversations will remain completely confidential. This is essential for the coaching process to be effective. Nothing discussed will be shared with others without your permission.
  • However, as with counselling, we have a duty of care to protect both yourself and others from ‘serious danger’; so in very rare circumstances, we may break confidentiality and contact authorities to protect you.
